Clay Fullum Fine Arts Camp
Clay Fullum Fine Arts Camp is where the Word of God and creativity come together to change the future of our children's lives. Thanks to the special gift of Ruby Fullum, our camp will be part of the First Kids experience for years to come.
Clay Fullum was an artist and son of late First Methodist member, Ruby Fullum. Clay loved life, loved art, and spent his life encouraging others in this area. Clay's life was cut short, but through the generosity of his mother, his legacy will live on through our camp as we seek to connect children to their God-given talents and encourage them to develop their gifts and share them with the world. It's a fun week of dance, music, drama, crafts and many more ways to express God's love!
The year was 1982. Kids at First Methodist came from just about every school in the Tulsa area and Liz Stevens and Coach Connie decided it was high time someone had a camp that focused on friendship. Tulsa needed a Christ-centered camp that would teach elementary-age children what it really meant to be a friend. Years later, Camp Friendship has grown to include over 200 kids and continues to be a strong influence on the lives of our young ones.
Vacation Bible School
VBS at First Methodist is guaranteed to be a blast! It's when some of our youngest members come together to experience the greatness of God through worship, skits, crafts, songs, and games. VBS is offered to all children free of charge. T-shirts and CDs for the week are available for a nominal cost.
