Thanksgiving Service

Around Thanksgiving, people choose to reflect on the blessings of their lives. As Christians, what greater blessing do we have than that of Christ's death and resurrection? In 2011, First United Methodist Church, First Presbyterian Church, Asbury United Methodist Church and First Baptist Church joined forces and came together to celebrate and honor the Thanksgiving holiday with one combined worship service at 7:00 pm. Dr. Jim Miller of First Presbyterian delivered the message and music was provided by all four participating churches. We hope this special service will become part of your future Thanksgiving traditions!
